My Acrylic Nail Is Coming Off And It Hurts

Its just that a couple of my clients keep losing nails acrylic that i have put on and i dont know why as i do all the preppingremoving oil from nail surface using white block to rough it up and even using nail primer.

My acrylic nail is coming off and it hurts. She used to wear acrylic nails but has been a natural nail client for eight months or so. I have never actually had acrylic nails but you know what. I have a MAJOR fungus on my middle finger that resulted in half of my nail coming off.

The tips I used are the Edge competition tips that say they dont need blending. She said it started after she had a pedicure done. My pinky and oh how it hurt.

Does anyone have any good advice on where I am possibly going wrong Thank you xxx. She has these white spots on her nails big spots that are dry but not flaky right in the middle of the nail. Acrylic might be too dry.

The Bellasonic nail drill costs about 80 which means it may not be in your price range. I did try to buff them lightly but they do not come off or grow off. If the acrylic nail has been damaged enough to have the backing matrix part pops off then you can take off the nail polish and let it soak in alcohol or bleach for a day or two to remove any remaining paint.

I had a new client come in last week who had the same on her toenails. The nail tech used an electric file to shave my gels down and then took a metal instrument and dug it underneath my nail pushing between my nail and the gel and ripped them off. A nail snag can also cause a crack chip or break off the entire nail.
